IMO, if you want something bombproof, why get an iPhone in the first place?

I have a really nice leather wallet for mine, but that isn't what you want I don't think.

Otterbox? Does it smell fishy?

mastiles - the case would only be used out on the bike. I already have a tarty leather one for normal use.

Fair enough - I have a decidedly low-tech approach to using a phone when riding - I just stuff it in an old sock.

🙂

Damn that thing is massive! Does it have an external battery too?

2.4 Amp battery.

I keep it in my camelbak which is nice and padded, just incase. It doesn't protect the top, but there are other external battery packs that do.

I bought one of these cheapy ones from ebay and have been pretty pleased with it. Looks surprisingly good and fits well. Dropped it a couple of times and have put a chip in the corner of the case, but the phone is still fine.

Switcheasy Capsule Rebel for everyday knocks (and makes it nicely grippier too, without being sticky like silicone skins). I just chuck it in my Camelbak like that, in a sandwich bag if it's going to be really rainy.
