I need to find a mag my dad used to read a lot. It’s a jazz mag, it’s played on brass (one eyed picollo I guess so could be Miles Davies?)
My best attempt at describing the book goes….
fnar..fnar..phwoar
fnar..fnar..phwoar
fnar..fnar..phwoar PHWOAR
I reckon if you know your jazz mags and you speak through the above you’ll know what I mean!!
I think they still sell them in some of the out of way independent petrol stations. I'm sure I saw some on the top shelf at one a while ago. I was surprised they still existed, but they did.
I think I know the one you mean. It had an article about a brass player, Zara, who after a particularly hot concert indulged in shenanigans with the the horny french french horn player, tromboning him well into the early hours while the oboeists polished their instruments nearby.
IIRC the article was titled Thus Spake Zara Thruster

Can't help. Prefer frantic folk fiddling.

Razzle ?
As above, happy hunting:

@chakaping - do people really throw their mobile phones in the hedge now after a good grumble session?
The Internet is responsible for the demise of hedge grumble

Well this was inevitable 😅
A lot of the tories are tied up with hedge funds.
I am so confused. Part of me thinks OP wants some highbrow music discussion. Part of me thinks it's the sexy nudie pictures they're after. Another part of me thinks it's some hitherto-suspected but as-yet-unproven combination of the two.
All this said, I can't help you OP, sorry.

This thread is short - but it is pure gold. I started laughing at the first post - and I have not stopped yet!
I believe there's a Penthouse in Mayfair where one can find such things. Can't say for certain though as I was Escorted from the Club after a night on the Razzle.
Oh, you Knave sir!

@squirrelking - thank you for posting the Alison Hannigan ‘band amp’ reference, it was the first thing I thought of!
