Looking for a set of Torx tools, preferably with a T-handle. Any deals going? I usually go for Bahco, but they're coming up quite expensive!

I've been looking at Teng. Not sure if they're a deal though.

I recently had a similar dilemma when looking for T-handle hex keys. I ended up buying Bahco from Amazon in just the sizes I use regularly - worked out cheaper than buying a whole set, and I can always add to it if I find I need a size I didn't buy.

We have a very cheap set of "allen key" L type, eg just the metal bent at 90 degrees with a torx head at each end. Used for bike, computer etc

Just get a really nice T-handled T25 (Beta, Facom etc)and then get a more basic folding or L-handle set for the other sizes.

95% of the time you need a torx it'll be a T25 so drop the cash on a nice T25 that'll last and the rest will be fine for occasional use.

+1 for buying a nice T25 (and possibly T30 if you have them on your chainsets)

It's the T30 that's more likely to break if you get a cheap set IMO

This seems like a good deal at the moment:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TORX%C2%AE-screwdriver-T-grip-T9-T40-Germany/dp/B00O39JJR4/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1505833509&sr=8-11&keywords=torx

I have these from a few years ago and very happy

I've been looking at Teng. Not sure if they're a deal though.

Teng make lovely tools for the most part but not good value. And as above, torx sets don't generally make any sense for cycling, you're not likely to ever use anything over T30 (and whether or not you use a T10, T15, T20 and T30 depends mostly on how ****y your brakes and cranks are)

Bondhus do a really good T handle, really like mine.

i need a T15,T25 and T30 set. Anything else is a bonus. Thanks for the recommendations folks.

I've gone for a set of Wera tools from amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E8HM9N2

They aren't T-handle, but i like the colours and they'll take less space in my crowded tool box.

T40s on all my Turners.

And a few sizes in-between across the suspension.

There's some in Lidl at the moment, hex and torx in a fold out case for a tenner.

I used to have a good opinion of Draper 20 years ago (I still have a socket set I got at the time for working on cars that's fabulous). I got a set of T handled Draper "allen" keys for the bike and they are absolutely shite, expecially the smaller ones. They appear to be ever so slightly too small and don't seem to me worth paying anything over cheap chinese ones, I'm afraid.

Not T handled but love my Birzman set.

I have a Park Tools Y (torx version of image) which is great. Can't remember using anything other than T25 though.

I've used the Park Y ones before and they are great as 2 tools does the lot.
Got an ice tools T25 that has seen way better days.
Other option is get some Torx and Allen Key bits for one driver (rotor bolts with a low setting on the electric drill are much much quicker)

Re Draper, some of their stuff is really excellent, some of their stuff is nasty, you just don't know til you buy it unfortunately.

+1. and not worth the risk in my opinion.

I'd stick with Bahco/Teng/Britool/Facom/Bondhus.

i.e. means "that is to say".
e.g. means "for example".

Your welcome.

I have torx bits (hex type bits and socket ones too) that I use, but most of the time I use the free T handle one I got with MBUK one issue, works great!

Saw the Lidl Torx kit today - it's massive! There are only about 3 tools you'd actually use, I reckon. Only a tenner though, I think
