There was one the other day, a bloke had invented some DIY motocross style lightweight hand guard. TBF the thread title did look a bit like advertising, but I followed the link and it genuinely was an indestructibles type page. I pointed that out, but the thread still got pulled.
Seemed harsh, was quite a good idea if you ride somewhere with a lot of nettles and brambles. Not seen it on the front page yet.

It was removed (seemingly erroneously) as a trade post. I wasn't dealing with this, but as far as I'm aware the poster was given an apology and told he could re-post it. I think.
