Same time, same place. Sounds like a good series finale:

This series has had its ups and downs (let's agree the HGV race was an up; the Mark Wahlberg interview a dreary down), but it looks like going out on a high. DVDs weren't forthcoming but we're promised the kind of foreign odyssey that in the past has made for stirringly mad TV. The idea is that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May race the length of Vietnam in eight days. The catch is that they've only been given enough money to buy two-wheeled transport. And the other catch is that their final destination is somewhere out at sea. This explains the teaser shot we saw at the start of the series, showing Clarkson riding a scooter that looked to be powering a makeshift trimaran/ raft across the seas of Ha Long Bay, with its extraordinary mountains rising out of the sea. Whatever happens, it should be spectacular.

Might have to watch the repeat on Tuesday for this one; I fancy seing what the Beeb have made of The 39 Steps on the other side.

Thanks to BT Vision I'll just watch Top Gear then The 39 Steps straight afterwards.

quite apart from the frolicks of the 3 musketeers (love the smell of two stroke in the morning.....) i'm very much liking the look of 'nam......
