Random question of the day: Is there a make and model of a toilet pan that you can wee in to in the standing position that absorbs/deflects the impact of said wee so that a roaming cloud of wee droplets doesn't form and cover everything? I've tried aiming for all corners of our current pan with varying degrees of hose pressure without success.

Stand closer, like between your knees. Point down.

Edit - user name doesn't check out.

I've always assumed the spray pattern was due to a poor nozzle.

that you can wee in to in the standing position

Well there's your solution..... just sit down.

Or get one of these

Mount the toilet upside down at such a height that you can hit the lowest point (now the highest) of the ubend when you get the angle just right it will deflect into the waste pipe containing all the splashback.

As an added bonus leaving the toilet seat up is almost impossible.

Sit down while weeing. We had this with my Dad. He hardly hit the pan, but he was so obstinate that he wouldnt sit down while doing it. My Mum kept a mop and bucket next to the toilet, her life was a bit easier when he went.

Sit down while weeing.

This. Or, at least, kneel down? I know neither properly answers your actual question, but they're reasonably practical suggestions, and don't involve the hassle of changing the pan

Yes, sit down. I know exactly what you mean, it doesn't matter how good your aim is, you're still creating p!ss aerosols that go everywhere. It annoys me when any male relative or friend or if the plumber or whoever uses our toilet and there's p!ss all over it afterwards every time. And I'm "a bloke" and shouldn't care about this type of thing!

Wait till your prostate has enlarged enough to reduce the flow rate.

I don't know what you huys are doing but surely like any true perfectionist you are aiming not for a corner but to gently kiss the curve of the pan as close to tangentially such that the main flow is dragged round the pan in a laminar flow and the minimal spray is sent is deflected only a small amount to tinkly onto the largely undisturbed water surface?

No clean up necessary?

And it's a gamble if there's one or two streams or you're going to get a shower!

Toilets are for sitting, urinals for standing.
