It can be pretty much any 3D shape.

So it's a thing that sometimes can represent a burro, but could also be a dodecahedron? Like saying a vehicle rather than a car or a bike?

I would have said a donkey. But now I am questioning it because they do look quite llamaey. Could even be an alpaca.
