Unusual to see horned cattle these days.
And unusual to see a bull running with Friesian cows!
Haven’t had one of these in the bath for quite a while… (toothbrush for scale) She was carefully relocated to the shed.
Went for a stroll on a nature reserve this afternoon, it’s Morgan’s Hill, near Calne, a beautiful place, with fantastic views, on really clear days it’s possible to see the tops of Bannau Brycheiniog through the low points of the Cotswold scarp. Anyway, looking east, towards Marlborough, I could see smoke, so there may have been a field fire over that way. I didn’t see anything on the news when I got home, so hopefully it wasn’t anything too damaging to property. It’s not very obvious, it’s on the horizon, pretty much dead centre, so maybe it was already under control.
