Have a nice warm glow from doing my bit for wildlife today, don't know if I did right or wrong but the little ****er looked pretty knackered, although his beak was pretty active still. Amazed me though when I rang the local rspb place and theyre response was "oh we're shutting soon."
They taste bad (just in case you were wondering what to do with it).
They should have given you the number of the nearest emergency wildlife rescue volunteers. I've found a stunned Tawny Wol on the edge of a busy road and got it home, and found a local rescue service who came and picked it up quite late in the evening.
RSPB are in the business of running nature reserves and campaigning. You need to be ringing the RSP CA, and then they might just tell you to put it back where you found it.

Thought that said shaved

I saved a pony the other day.
I saved a dog the other day
No you din't you bloody liar.
I did i bloody did! He was over by the side of the road and i didn't roll over him with my big 29 inch wheels
Is that right chorlton? What leave it there to die! Yeah champion attitude that one.
Oh sorry I missed the other posts, well it looked pretty ****ed, trying to dewater it's feathers but just hadn't got the energy to even flap it's wings. So I'm sure I saved it from being savagely pecked and eaten alive by those pleasant seagulls that were hounding it. But hey what do I know, just thought I was doing the right thing!
