...by the lovely people down at TF Tuned.

Due to my RP3 getting stuck down just in time for my ride in Reeth last week (the Dales bike centre (which is very good by the way) sorted out a rental at short notice)and going to Builth this Sunday, I finally had my shock serviced and while I was at it I thought I'd get it PUSH'd and the forks serviced also (weeps over empty wallet).

I've always been a bit cynical about tuning (surely it's for the pro's and the uber keen - I'll never notice the difference) but I am pleased to say I was WRONG WRONG WRONG. My bike now has a magic carpet feel front and back. The difference is like night and day.

For anyone thinking of getting it done, just crack on. The blokes (and ladies) at TF are great, they know their stuff and the owner makes a mean coffee if your dropping in personally.

All the work I had done was finished in a couple of hours while I waited upstairs and when it was all done they allowed me the use of the workshop to put it all back together again - super smashing lovely great. So thanks again TF.

Pym

Had my RP23 done last month.

Transformed the bike, admittedly the shock had a dodgy seal and no dampening before.

Very quick turn around as well.

Considering its 7 years since I put them on the bike then yes. If you did it every time Fox say you should then prbably not !! All in, service of both shock and forks plus a PUSH tune of the shock was £240 including the VAT.

It does genuinely feel like a new bike. I'm a very happy boy.

Nice to meet you Rob - good to hear that the Ventana is running sweet now, and Ian was on a roll with the coffee today!

My old man sent my Monarch to TF tuned as part of my birthday present (away at uni....no room for bike) to be PUSH'd as it was leaking air. Apparently they are still doing it for the monarch which I was unaware of.... maybe they still have some stock left or something.

Anyway, I asked for a faster end stroke rebound and the air can volume to be spaced down a little. Looking forward to trying the results!

Ruth, good to meet you too. Now following your blog (see onemansstruggle) if my phone has managed it with the crap interweb connection here in Builth.
