Nice What We Do In The Shadows Reunion, noticed him playing Toast theme tune in last episode.

I love the meta-ness of the Star Wars reference given that Matt Berry is voicing a droid in the Boba Fett show.

Watched the first two episodes. Very enjoyable.

Particularly Ray Bloody Purchase's facial expressions at a key moment in ep1 (no spoilers).

Some impressive guest stars too.

+1

If there's a better 'FFS' (full version), I've yet to hear it.

I watched that last Shadows episode right before the Toast one. The scene with the piano was lovely.

I never knew that!

What absolute twaddle. It’s like something out of Viz ….

And totally addictive !!

Never seen it before so started at the beginning and I’m 3 series in. The exorcist vomiting scene in series 2 had me in stitches with the “im not certain this is a gluten allergy” comment 😂

I read the thread title and thought Cleetus McFarland had repaired his car and I'd somehow managed to miss it. 🤣

Probably need to get out more!

Although I am intrigued by the actual content and now going to research the true subject matter.

After watching it I wish he'd been cast as Dr.Strange, would have been genius. Although may not have worked.

I think that may be the most disappointed I have ever been with a series.

Only just got to the final two episodes… loved them. Whole series was great, but those last two were packed.

On the bask of this thread I watched all the Toast episodes for the first time recently.

Odd, quirky but very funny! So many catchphrases!

Loved the porno dubbing session. Had me in bloody stitches.😁

I know what you mean.

What went wrong? How did they forget to put the jokes in? There's got to be a story behind it.

It has it's moments, but mostly it's a bit flat. They've put loads of jokes in, but they're mostly shit! 😆
I think Rabbit was a lot better.

Started from the beginning after seeing this thread. Just finished season 2.

Matt Berry should be the next Dr Who.

Recently discovered both Toast and What We Do In The Shadows.

Both very, very funny shows.

Matt Berry should be the next Dr Who.

Obviously he would be superb, but would the writing and production do him justice?

And he's too big for it anyway, at the mo.

I'd expect him to start showing up in more Hollywood movies as the comedy Brit instead.

If you enjoying Matt Berry and have never seen Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, than you need to do yourself a favour and correct that pronto!

He's already been in a Spongebobsquarepants movie. There's no where up from there.

Watching it on iPlayer just now...definitely not as good as Rabbit (which is meant to have a second series but no idea when it will be aired). I'm about halfway through series 2 - it isn't jumping out at me but it seems to be drawing me back.

I can't see Series 3 on iplayer but will hopefully find it soon enough and get that out the way...then I suppose I'll need to try Toast in Tinseltown and get that out the way as well...

Found Series 3...my iPlayer hadn't updated or something, but it is showing it now as an option.

Well, yesterday's Dr.Grainger episode had me in stitches. Carmen was awesome! A return to form that one 😀
