I work for a tree surgery company as a sub contractor, run by a female boss.
She can be downright rude and often abuses people. Today she really went crazy when I damaged a plant of hers when we were offloading some logs off the truck. She completely over-reacted and shouted at me (f-ing and blinding as they say). For me this was the last straw and i got in my car and left (it was near the end of the day). She often will mutter things or say something like we are lazy f**g cs etc..... in a malicious way rather than being jovial.
I have no contract with the company, and at the moment i only work for her 3 days per week.
Question is should i bother going to work tomorrow and continue with the abuse, or look for another job with a more reasonable boss?
hope you can help
Take a big thick log and jam it up her a** ๐ฏ
Go in tomorrow and give her a piece of your mind. Then quit - if you can afford it.
The rational side of me suggest going in, getting paid and keeping your job while you look for something else.
The other, less rational part of me thinks you should follow her home, pull out every single plant, tree and shrub from her garden...put them all into the middle of her manicured lawn, set fire to the pile and dance around. While your dancing around the fire, take your top off to reveal 'your fanny is gay' written on your back (in red)...and then finally, do a big moonie. Right at her.
If you've no contract, then you've no 'job' anyway.
And it really depends on whether you can get other work - and also what she may 'say' to her contacts... will you get other work in the area?
Walk up to her, look at her, and shout.... "shut the **** up, you stupid bint, learn som respect biatch"
I suspect she is sexually frustrated and secretly fancies you.
Next time she kicks off say the following - "God you're hot when you're angry."
I said this to a female boss once abd got away with it, sadly never had the opportunity to try it again.
look for another job but in the meantime just compromise and have a word saying don't talk to me like that please - it is money after all.
Just tell her the last abusive boss you had ended up having an 'accident' with a chainsaw and give her your best Jack Nicholson raised eyebrow look...
2 choices. Tell her that her behaviour is out of order, that as an employee, even a casual one, you should be able to expect a level of professionalism.
Or.
Bombers, Shoes and Wee, Back doors, etc etc...
