All.
The riding has been so good that the calusses on my palms caused by riding my MTB are getting out of hand.
Anybody know of some lotion or somethin gthat will dissolve them?
And no I am not trying sidecutters/surform/battery acid/funny fish in a jar
Cheers.

...but unless you are doing something like weight lifting, where there is a risk of callouses being torn off, I would just leave them.

I used to have hands covered in them when I rowed. Thing is that they're there for a reason usually so we'd never remove them until you could pretty much peel them off without tearing the skin underneath. Never heard of anything to dissolve them though I'd be interested to hear...

a pumice stone is probably the best/simplest thing - just rub them off.

I've got lumps under all but my index fingers on both hands but never got them on my plams - maybe try some thicker/more padded gloves?

Don't bother, calluses are great and stop you getting torn skin in the same area.

Took me a couple of years of rowing for my hands to harden up but now they're nice and tough, no worries with rowing or cycling.

take up climbing....mine have almost all gone since i started climbing. Nothing like chalk, ropes and walls to split the calluses and get rid of them. Stings a bit though ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
