[Closed] Tips for dealing with Recruitment Agents?

I'm getting made redundant in a few weeks, so i've given my details to a few technical agents to begin with, it seems giving them locations of where I want to look is a waste of time, the greatest job ever (in their opinion) is miles away from said locations. I'd just like a few tips on how to keep them on side, but actually providing jobs of interest locally

They are paid based on 2 things, you being hired and you being interviewed.
