I made a sea horse a while back out of old motorbike bits. It was always intended to look 'care worn' but was now looking distinctly shabby so I thought I would add some colour.

I love stuff like this but don't have a welder, so rivet, bolt, wire tie etc. How do you keep the chain in shape. I thread copper wire through to hold it in shape, rust eventually holds the links in place.
That’s great. Do you keep all these creations dotted around the garden?
Chain is welded in shape. I am hoping the coloured wax will delay the rust process or at least disguise it a bit.
Loads of bits and bobs scattered around the garden there is my dragon fly on another thread somewhere and I did a swooping hawk which my mother took for her garden
