I've just got a set of Thule Wingbars for the car and am a little confused by part of the instructions. The pictures show either using one bolt or two bolts between the fittings and the roof bars, but doesn't say why you'd need one or two, so what should I do?

Thanks.

Did you get the specific kit for your car? Should be assembled already for it

Edit to add I think I'm speaking rubbish, looks different to my ones

Yes it's the car specific kit, but the pictures show one bolt being removed and the other moved to the middle hole, and then shows that if two blots are used they need to be 4Nm, but if one is used it should be 6Nm!

I didn't really get this either when I read the instructions.
I just had a look at the bits & pieces and used the single bolt option.

Worked fine....

(that'll teach me to not read instructions) 🙂

Why didn't I think of that! I called them (they were who I bought from anyway) and as predicted they were really helpful, but the chap has said that it doesn't really matter whether I use one or two bolts so I'll go for the single bolt as it means putting them on and taking them off will be a little quicker!
