Modesty prevents me from showcasing my own work, I'd have to say the tubeless thread has to be up there.

I remember a good dambusters one also.

That has to be SurfMat, who modestly claimed to be the world's greatest driver in any vehicle in any condition. He was quite modest about a lot of things come to think of it. For some reason the STW massive didn't worship at his feet quite enough, so he left. Obviously the forum never recovered from such a loss...

Been here so long I think I have seen them all live - picolax, sudocreme cat, the Mumsnet Center Parcs hack, all brought tears of joy and laughter

Any that included @Jamie ‘s photoshopping skillz. The car and the raising bollards was a good one.

That one with the chubby guy and the tubeless explosion and the threat to sue people - i wish I'd been here for that.

Can we see the picture again?

Who was the chap that posted pics of himself posing topless? I think he had ginger hair. Saw the end of the thread but can't remember how it started.

And the kid in his bedroom posing in full MX kit . . . .

Penis beaker

That was on Mumsnet, and I think it made the news?

Would have been good to witness the Picolax thread unfolding in real time.

The chap trying to meet up with Dave (?) in Surrey Hills.

A certain ex-member's greatest contribution.

What was the one about the awesome driver and the major flounce?

That was any car/driving related thread where SurfMatt got involved. Multiple flounces back in the day I think.

I think that one, like the "postman laser scanner" thread was hilarious at the time, but with hindsight he was mentally troubled and the hilarity was rather one sided, or he was a fantastic comedic troll, never can be sure on here.

My top 5.

5. Molgrips Passat woes - I doff my cap to someone with that much patience.

4. Films where you change one letter.

3. Sudocream feline.

2. The fable of the Wasp, Cushion and unbelievable optimism.

1. There could only be one choice here. The never to be beaten Picolax thread. The only thread where I held my breath waiting for the next update and responses.

Any thread that Dylan got upset on

Was that not on Bikemagic? Oh, and Emily Jane

Been here that long I can remember all of them, the slow unfolding of the Picolax thread IMO was just superb to the point like many I had coffee coming out of my nose.

I even printed the condensed version out for our apprentice who is also an Everton supporter.

Where is Bluenose these days and CFH are you still in touch with Numpty from BM

There was a thread were someone had found an article on Vice Where they interviewed a bar owner that said he would refuse to make a punter a mojito, as it was a lazy drink choice, why not have something new/he’s designed etc. Cue loads of folk saying what a pretentious hipster **** he was, what they would do/say if he said that to them etc.

Turns out he was a STW forumist. You’ve never seen so many people backtrack or go full Edinburgh defence in your life... still makes me chuckle.
