I probably do join in with that same tired old shit. I am not the worlds greatest original thinker - and don’t pretend to be. I am a fairly predictable, left-wing, socially liberal man in my mid-forties. If I was going to change myself or change the world - it would have happened by now.

No, of course I have changed and adapted as life has gone on. What I meant, was that I am unlikely to become some wildly unpredictable person who behaves in totally unexpected ways. I’m not a person who is likely to drastically change.
