at lidl, perusing the selection of delicious fresh pastries, only to witness a woman TOUCHING about 8 pain au chocolat to see if they were warm, only for her to get a danish instead! i think i tutted very quietly, along with a barely perceptible shake of the head. fuming i was.

You should have prodded each danish as she was about to pick it up, see how she liked it 🙂
