[Closed] This 3D thing on channel 4....
....anyone noticing much difference with their glasses on? seems a little bit more "contrasty" but not really 3D...Like the people who tell me to put my 3D glasses on though!
Hmm! Oh that forgot all about it.
I watched that shite about the coronation for about ten minutes. What a pile of horseshit! I'm hoping the rest of the stuff this week's a bit better.

novelty lasted 'bout hmm.. 10 secs. Little longer in the late 80's but I was a child then.
it just didn't seem to work that well on my telly.
When I was a kid they put a 3D film on the telly but our mum forgot to get the glasses so we taped sweet wrappers (Quality Street IIRC) onto photochromatic sunglasses.
It worked and we got to eat extra sweets too.

I guess it might not work so well on your telly if your colours are a bit off.
Or if you don't normally see in stereo anyway (which is why my missus can't see 3D).
They were messing about with those 3D TV glasses about 20 years ago and it was crap then. Why do they keep on trying to punt this idea of anaglyph 3D? it's rubbish.

Because it's cheap. LCD shutter glasses or polarised displays are much much better - but harder to justify giving away for free at the supermarket.
surely 3d was meant for porn, you want things that stick out the screen 😉
