Planning a trip to Croatia in a couple of weeks, i know a few people here have been... So far the plan is to stay in split and Dubrovnik area, what are the must see and dos in these areas?

Krka National Park is nice (just north of Split), Kotor in Montenegro is lovely roo.

Can you get yourself to Plitvice lakes? We made the 4 hr drive from northern Croatia over the summer hols. Well worth it. Absolutely stunning.
