We will be in touch
So I am a bit of a techno luddite, but got a Nexus from Santa 😀 I have set it up for the basics, bookmarked all my fave websites, set up Facebook etc. Not likley to use it for music as we have a plethora of ipods in the house for that.
Kids have just got ipod touches which I am in process of setting up for them, which along with trying to get xbox live set up right for my 10 yr old I am just about at overload 😳
What is good/clean/free/cheap/entertaining in way of downloads/apps etc for the Nexus.
Thanks
Offroad Legends 🙂
google play and go to top free downloads.
I'm assuming it's a Nexus 7? I got one recently and am finding it great as a way to read interesting stuff. Download Pocket, and also install it on whatever browser you use at work - really easy way to save stuff for reading later.
It's also great for Netflix but that needs a subscription - worth the £6 a month in my opinion, if only for Breaking Bad and the occasional odd documentary.
yes Nexus 7, 32G, thanks
Offroad legends, Hill climb racing, GTA Hyundai, Angry Birds Star Wars (all free) will keep you occupied for a while 😀
If you like the yr.no weather meteograms they do a wdiget to put on your home screen, as well as a nice app.
Nexus media importer and a USB OTG cable is handy to copy/view/stream files from USB devices.
You do know what you can find on the internet, don't you? 😉
...not that much of a luddite 😆You do know what you can find on the internet, don't you?
Find some maps of Tassie. ...
Try Aldiko for plenty of free, hard SF short stories.
Jetpack Joyride, it's not a euphemism.
Here is a list of my installed apps for you to use for inspiration;

I have Theme Park on my Nexus 10 and its bloody addictive. I cant put it down. It does eat the battery tho.
Just tried offroad legends and its great.
Jetpack Joyride is awesome. The "total hours played" statistic is just scary...
