Hi all,
We are off to Arran in september - we are armed with scopes and we are hoping to see some good wildlife / birds etc -any areas / places I should be aware of? Any good wild camping spots - will have a van and bikes so getting around isnt an issue... whats the mtb riding like up there?
We spent 5 days on Mull in may and that was fantastic - otters / seals / white tail eagles / a lot of raptors - including peregrines an my first male merlin!

Google Arran MTB club and they have a list of good trails and maps, great place! I am going over this weekend.
