STOP EFFING ABOUT WITH THAT TWADDLE, CONCENTRATE ON MAKING KIT THAT'S GOOD FOR RIDING! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

All the public school toffs winning medals at the Olympics rowing a boat or riding a horse. I've as much in common with them as I have to a woodlouse.

I'd rather cheer on the French....

2 strokes in the last 4 weeks. Not something you really expect as a fit, healthy 33 year old....

But it's not all bad. I've just had a lumbar puncture which had taken my mind off it nicely!

Sorry, didn't mean to inject a somber mood into the thread.

Sore necks are bad and best treated by smearing cake directly on the affected area.

I had one of these weeks a few months ago. I got told I was selfish and needed to spend more time looking at pictures of dying Ethiopians. For what it's worth, you have my sympathy. And that pie looks seriously edible :p

Gary Lineker - imo is professional, a great interviewer, good looking, cheerful and knows his stuff, unlike that cretin at the beginning of the games, some young children's presenter (don't know his name).

I hate riding into lamp posts. I wasn't aware that I had this hatred, until I tried it on Monday.
And I can assure you it is a hateful thing. It bloody hurts.

My boss, useless *. Told him to * off today after my half year review as he seemed to not actually realise what I do and how many times I have saved his ass. Sadly for him and his inability to change my rating ( they get pre signed off by some tosspot so far removed from reality that they don't know names) I now have selective forgetfulness.

There's a somber and a sombre? Aren't they just different spellings of the same word?

Yes, one (somber) is the preferred American spelling, all other English-speaking countries use 'sombre'.

I am currently hating pigeons and the fact that I can't go to my local supermarket, buy some sort of fancy laser weapon and kill the bastards until they are very dead and stop shitting on my decking.

But but but. The pronunciation is the same isn't it? So when a Yankee doodle says "somber", you know what he means anyway, and he means what you know. 😕

Am I just arguing with myself now?

The fact that thanks to this thread I now want cake/pie/flan and I haven't got any, oh and the fact that if I did my O/H wouldn't let me have it as its breakfast time in the week and treats like that are only allowed as a weekend dessert....

Oh woo is me...

Not a lot to feel down about here on a sunny bright morning in That London.
Soundcloud hammering out some funky deep house, blazing sunshine, double espresso, apricot and custard croissant, pretty girls standing on the station platforms, lush green trees, warm wind, empty carriages, a soft landing at work day and scuttle off home early..
And it's Thursday, which means tomorrow is Friday.
