....heard on the radio today that the Daily Wail website is the most popular news website in the world. Its embarrassing enough that it could be the most popular in the UK, but THE WORLD????
Probably serves the Beeb right for their silly new front page though?
Makes you wonder if democracy is all its cracked up to be, if this is where the majority of THE WORLD accesses its news (online)!!
On a similar note, what is it with Amanda Holden? I have no axe to grind with her personally and sincerely hope that she and her new baby Hollie are OK, but what has she done to deserve being plastered over the front pages of the tabloids? Outside her immediate family, why does anyone care? What really is her claim to fame? Or is that just a silly question? It could easily be Frankie Cokehead (or something similar - too lazy to Google the correct surname) and the same would apply I assume.
Now where are my slippers and my cardie.....?
a) it has apparently become the leading onine "newspaper" not news site.
b) If you are not interested in Amanda Holden, don't read tabloids, although your level of knowledge suggests you are the target audience.
Thanks MSP - for the info (a) and the (b) abuse!! I don't read tabloids hence the question, but intrigued by all the headlines in a shop today. When I learn to read beyond pictures, I may attain your level of knowledge perhaps? 😉
A bit sad, but its not just the DM website, its the whole group I think. So technically, the New York Times is still the most popular Newspaper.
The Mail group also owns many local papers (including ours): I visit the local paper's website far more frequently than any individual one of the national ones.
