Hmmmmm I wasnt a Watchmen following/fan but from the movie you could tell parts were left out or unexplained. A couple of the minutemen weren't represented later etc.
Still, I enjoyed it- GF hated it!!!
Same, I loved it and my other half hated it.
I did think that sex scene was cringeworthy and awful though, it ruined an otherwise excellent film.

In the context of the story the rape scene is a fairly important one. I'm a big fan of the comic, so not sure how I'll like the film. It's not really had great reviews so far.
There is no rape scene. Attempted shown but the conception was protrayed as mutual(?) later on (once)

I think you are getting your wires crossed about what sex/rape scenes you're reffering too.
is this like fight club where half the people who went saw a completely different film to everyone else?
