We've just recently produced a film for a project entitled the 'The Steel Man'. We were quite late on board but early enough to make a film about it.
We worked with local Sculptor Steve Mehdi and the fabricators to take a honest look at how this project evolved and how people gave their time and materials. It's been interesting watching it capture the imagination of people and how it's now evolving into a full blown BHF charity.
The Steel Man is a project to build a new landmark structure overlooking the M1 in Sheffield/Rotherham, It is being built to honour the people and places that forged a lasting legacy in Yorkshire.
Currently the heart of steel is on display in Meadowhall and you can have your name engraved on it, and the heart of steel will be eventually be entombed in the 40m Steel Man - which will sit not too far from the Tinsley Viaduct.
The film itself was a thank-you to the people involved and here is a 6 minute version ... (Which is trimmed down from a 10 min version which contained more production details.)
