Broke the finger because it got confused or because it decided it could also win if the boy couldn't use his fingers? The 2nd one would be proper scary.

Makes you wonder why the robot arm is so strong... I mean how heavy is a chess piece?
Surely it would be easier to make it out out thin light material?
Or is it salvaged from a car manufacturer line welding machine?

They will once they've murdered us all. I mean, we've got sentient AI, now a robot with a taste for snapping bones. If it was a dog or a shark, it would have been destroyed already.

We're doomed!
