Anyone know what happened to the carved raven wings at brechfa byrgwm? I`v not been there for some years, went yesterday and saw they had been cut down almost. Such a shame as they were a great feature at the head of the car park.

They were rotten and fell apart, not long before the pandemic started they were made safe and I believe there are plans to reinstate them but no idea when.

2007 installation, so not too surprising that exposure to our ‘varied’ climate has caused it to start to fall apart. Never seen it personally though - never rode Brechfa.
