We’ve been seriously impressed by seven-year-old Charlie Simpson from Fulham, South West London, who, after seeing footage of the Haiti disaster on the news, decided he would cycle around his local park to raise money for UNICEF's Haiti appeal.
He set himself a goal of 'at least 10 laps, I hope' and a target amount of £500, but has received donations in excess of £167,000, and they continue to roll in.
As Charlie puts it: Our aim was £500, but it’s gone mad!
