[Closed] The Olympics - stuff other than cycling

I know the mods have just closed the other thread, but that just means there isn't a thread to discuss stuff other than cycling (quite happy to discuss that on the appropriate thread), so I'm unapologetic for starting this one.
I just wanted to agree that the rowing (and presumably canoeing/kayaking) course looks brutal - though anybody who's competed at Nottingham should be used to that, which might benefit the Brits!
