Are probably going to be the slowest of my life thus far! Final year uni results at 9:30 tomorrow morning. I'm quite confident I've got at least a 2:1 but would really like a 1st (obviously). Last years average was 74%, this years so far has been 76% - just waiting on the results of 3 exams and my final year project/dissertation equivalent. Think I'll be disappointed if I don't get the 1st given those results 😆

More like pleased I've actually stuck it out for 3 years and hopefully ending up with a respectable grade. Head of 6th form said I'd never make it past AS level because I dropped one of the modules as it was shite ¬_¬

tbh my degree is a mickey mouse one anyway 😆 Media Production but its a BSc so it makes me sound a bit clever. Its been a fun 3 years and I've learned loads about photography/video/audio/3D graphicsy stuff but I don't know how useful its going to be in the long run since the media industry seems to be on its arse at the minute.

How many weeks per year do you actually have classes in your degree and how many hours per week do you attend classes. count them all up and see how little it actually comes to. Probably comes out to around 4 months worth of work in real terms...

I have a 2:2, got bored in the final (4th) year but don't think its made a single bit of difference to my career. Once you have a job, the degree doesn't really mean shit!

Going cannock tomorrow, party on Saturday. Not sure how much I'll drink tonight as I need to be sober and not too hung over to get to where I'm riding tomorrow 😆

+ reading/self directed learning.

Students are supposed to work 38 hours a week (hence full time student). Most i know get near to 30 (in the third year), which goes against their reputation.

And yet I'd be slated on here for drunk driving if I did drive early in the morning after a heavy night on the drink - classic STW 😆

You need a thick skin and black sense of humour to survive on here...

Ta 🙂 A friend and I are having a go at doing some freelance (kinda) websites and promo video work, hoping to get a small business going. I still want to work in VFX/CGI but it's so hard to get into and my course didn't really focus much on that 🙁
