309 + 305 = 614... 650 - 614 = 36... who and where were they?
reported
Reported for why? I would be interested to know who they are.
Have I missed something?
#edit - just checked BBC. I suppose they abstained.
Abstentions?
keep an eye on here and see the divisions when they get published

seven of the 36 will be Sinn Fein of course - so you're only looking for 29 absconders / abstainers
Yay! Another thread!
thrilled and disappointed to be reported.. however i believe its a legitimate question. a little googling though has revealed where party lines are followed the voting is normally in the order of 315 v 293.. leading us back to where/who are the missing 30 to 40 mps? almost every time a vote is called..
pantomime season off to a rollicking start 🙄
If you take any group of 650 employees there will be a number unavailable at any one time due to sickness leave, parental leave, working away elsewhere (i.e. overseas) etc. Take away the Sinn Feinn numbers then thats less than 5% missing, not that bad really.
seven of the 36 will be Sinn Fein of course
So you’re saying they haven’t gone away, then?
Check who is at the bottom of this list. http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/mps.php?sort=attendance
There's also the speaker and 3 deputies, who don't usually vote.
