Got a couple of packs yesterday afternoon and was happily chomping through them in a rapid fashion to alleviate the lung wrenching cough I'm currently surviving through.
Cut to 6pm and my friend rings me for a chat about something or other

<gurgle/rumble/fart>

Carry on yaking away with him for a couple more minutes

<gurgle/rumble/gurgle/sweaty brow/rumble/far.....> ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

"Urm Ben, I've got to go"

Cue clenched run upstairs to the trap which was duly obliterated like a sack of builders rubble being tipped into a pool*

5 minutes later i was fine and made my tea

Life lesson folks; Halls Soothers, eat too many, too quick and you will shart yourself a little bit

*Hat tip to Binners for that one

Too much glucose and fructose syrup.

Note: the human rectum is well equipped with nerves, which allows the brain to know whether the contents are liquid, solid or gaseous.

Usually.

Learned that lesson as a child when I decided to eat a packet of cherry flavour Tunes like they were sweets.

True, but like a reverse parking sensor, you only truly appreciate it when the fuse has blown.

Too much glucose and fructose syrup.

Or too much sorbitol from the sugar-free ones?

Some friends at school used to complete with how many packs they could bear to eat and then let rip (with caution) in lessons. Foul bastards :mrgreen:
