Who else wakes up with a song stuck in their head for no reason? This morning I have Baby Come Back by UB40 and Pato Banton going round and round

After a long discussion of old kid's TV yesterday, I had the theme tune to Portland Bill in my head pretty much the whole afternoon. Which was nice.

I've had 'devil inside' INXS and 'say something' by James as earworms for about the last 12 months. Thy might disappear for a week or two then reappear. Not heard the actual songs themselves since they came out 25-30 years ago

I have belle and Sebastian's boy with the Arab strap, pretty much on a constant loop.
Not helped by the series Teachers and me now riding to school through crowds of kids most mornings.

Still got Kids See Ghosts 'Reborn' (it's Kanye West). Handily fitted in the Tune Association thread.
All I had was I'm so I'm so.. couldn't think what it was (or what the next word was), googled "I'm so I'm so" and it got it, first result!
Last week was Norwegian Wood. Didn't need to google that 🙂

For two days it's been Road Rage. Thank you, onehundredthidiot for replacing it with something considerably better!

Three days now...

( I should add, normally I like the Monks, the problem is this week is a stressful one for my wife, unconsciously singing this out loud has not done me any favours.)

If I'm a little bit late leaving for work and don't go until 7.30 - 8am, I always run the risk of driving past my ex-colleague who is a monumental end of a bell and whom I dislike with a passion. I call this half hour the danger zone, and hence always have this song going in my head as I drive... 🙂

Did a playlist for a friend's birthday last week.
The one that landed in my brain this morning...

The standard out-of-the-box message notification on the iPhone is an series of 3 ascending notes.
Those notes are also the opening harmonic riff to I Can Climb Mountains by Hell Is For Heroes.

Whenever I hear someone with an iphone get a message, I get that song stuck in my head for the next few hours. Without fail.

I had Meatloaf – ... nothing worked.

I'd remove my own head with the nearest metallic object.

I shall have to listen to more Tame Impala and Toro Y Moi, cos, though I like them, nothing they've done has ever stuck in my head

Having seen them at the RAH last week, I keep finding ‘Starless’ by King Crimson running through my head. Which is fine, I love the song.

Good thing I'm not so rash or I'd have topped myself every time I wake up with the theme to Wizbit (complete with Paul Daniels vocals) stuck in my brain.  I didn't even like the show.

Nothing today, but often yes. Sometimes I wake up feeling as if it's been rattling around in there for hours - like I must have been humming it in my sleep or something...

Whatever you think of Shaun KEaveny, his earworm feature was genius in that regard; although it often had the effect of replacing my current earworm with something more annoying...

I no longer listen to music while driving to work, just in case the last song on the radio is something I’m not keen on, otherwise ill replay it all day long.
I can’t listen to music in any way at work, so no way to change it.

I have absolutely no idea why this has been rattling round my head the last couple days (I even had to google to find out what/who it was...) but it’s been incessant. 🤷‍♂️

For reasons unknown, the Wombles theme tune, on repeat, for hours! F*** you, Uncle Bulgaria!

While I only listen to 6Music in the car, which generally means I’m fine with whatever the last tune is before I turn it off, I’m moving cars around all day, and those who are working on the cars leave the radios on Heart, Kiss or Radio 1, usually at ludicrous volume, which means I get to hear the same two or three crappy chart songs throughout the day. 😖

Yup, most morning’s I wake with a different tune as an ear worm, which I’m sure sometimes is due to subliminal listening from the radio the previous day as some of these songs that are on a constant loop are rather random.

For example, “Yes Sir, I Can Boogey” by Baccarat. I won’t post a YouTube link, I will spare you the pain.
