Haven't listened to the Jam in ages, since Paul Weller blew out Spotify and they no longer stream their stuff.

Ive become so dependent on Spotify i have no idea where else to go to for music, other than a trip to HMV and buying a CD. Happy to pay to support artists (is there a socially acceptable alternative with similar range of access to Music?)

(Legal) suggestions to stream / download? Ta!

Just cancelled Prime coz free trial ended, plus they've banned Visa cards and I can't be arsed to get another CC 😑

Paul Weller is on spotify - rather nice new album with the london symphony orchestra that I've just been listening to

Been interested in this recently as well.  Spotify seem to pay about .3 cents a listen but others are much better.  Top of the list are Qobuz at 4cents a listen, 10 times as much, but others such as Tidal are  quite good.  Qobuz also lets you buy albums and download flac files if you don't want to pay for streaming.   Tidal don't pay as much but their auto playlists are better for finding new stuff.  Qobuz has The Jam

The Jam are on Spotify, every album anyway, as well as pretty much all of Weller's solo work.

I loved The Jam when it was current: looking back it amazes me that they were only really going from '76 to '82. Just 5 or 6 years!
I'll go and have a listen tomorrow

I can see the tracks and albums on Spotify but press play and nothing happens - so is this just me then?

Hmmm...

I'll just carry on listening to The Beat then I guess! That works.

Who knew!
You can block a track or artist on your Spotify, I'd somehow done that a year or so ago. Little 'no entry' sign in top left corner.

Wot. A. ****. 🤣

Happy now though!

It’s definitely on Spotify, I’ve just joined a band with a load of old punks and having to learn some stuff I’ve never listened to including the jam, it’s definitely got a good catalog there’s been times I’ve found stuff on Spotify not on Apple Music.

Apple Music pays more to artists, and I like the way it integrates with your owned music, but I like the Spotify suggestions better. I was listening to a 90s rock playlist the other day and it was like someone had walked past my house every day for a few years in the 90s and made a note of what I was listening to. Mega.
