How about we turn this week's edition in to our own little version of STW Sports Personality, but really focus on the personality aspect of it. Sporting people you admire, like, or whatever, for their personality. Something about who they are, if you will.
I'll kick off with Adam Jones. Love the way he plays the game, but when he's interviewed, or off the pitch, he just comes across as a really amusing, decent guy.
He can drink a serious amount of beer, but he is very funny with it
Adam Jones looks like he's got an upside-down face.
A true legend!! For the sublime skill, the Gallic nonchalance, for the kung fu kicks, and the subsequent "when the seagulls follow the trawler..." statement, then in 'Looking for Eric' teaming up with Ken Loach to completely take the piss out this whole persona
"I am not a man. I am Cantona!" 😆
Someone put a picture of Danny "Magoo" Chandler up. Can't do it from work and the man was a legend.
Cheers Flash very good of you, Magoo was a force of nature who was badly hurt in a crash and confined to a wheel chair, things got a bit tough for him but he continued to coach and mentor kids.
He passed away a couple of years ago.
+1 on Tommy Voeckler, seemed like such a nice bloke whenever he was interviewed, very down to earth and humble.
Cheers, Rich
DD.. "Oh yes it is"
Well it is Panto season afterall.

He's even got his own coffee.
It's always good when the athlete connects with the fans.

Nice one Deadly. Your spot on with that observation, it was a travesty when that "personality" won sports personality of the year in Peaty's home town. It sends me on one when I think of what Peaty has put back into his sport and what Giggs has taken from his.
