There's something unexpectadly appealing about Gillian Anderson's 1 dimensional acting.
Is it an upgrade from 50 shades?

They went to the forest to find someone. There was a struggle and the baddie (Jamie Dornan, can't recall character name) got shot.
It ended in the forest when Stella Gibson ran to Paul Spector after he took a bullet. She cradles his head and shouts "We're losing him!" So clearly he didn't die.
One little known fact, from Wikipedia:
"Writer Cubitt was inspired by guitar manufacturing companies when naming some of his characters; both Stella and Gibson are brands of guitar, as are Bacon & Day, Brawley, Breedlove, Burns, Eastwood, Hagstrom, Kay, Martin, Music Man, Paul Reed Smith, Spector, Stagg and Tom Anderson.
