Off the Hebden Bridge for a a few beers for my lasses
birthday. For a treat to the other guests. We are walking

I have. Number not recognized. Lass just posted on twitter. Its shut apparently. Bugger. Apparently they have been evicted by the owners. Village is contemplating buying it as a community pub.
well, news to me, it was open the other day. why don't you walk to the blue pig instead, much better beer and much more pretty
Off to the white lion. Beer festival on this weekend.
Just got back from the beer festival at the white lion. Was meant to be a double pub affair. But alas down to the one pub with the cross inn being shut.
Was a nice low key festival. Not stupidly busy like the ones in York. Some beers on tap but the majority gravity fed. Good mix of pales, ambers and porters. Loved the lemonhead ale. Ginger with a lemon after taste.
