I thought my TV had committed suicide after Gallagher’s whining.

Could add this to the 'you know when you're getting old when....' thread. But yeah wtf, only heard half of it as well because of his potty mouth....

It’s always been a bit crap to be fair. Even in my youth I thought it was an utter cheese fest.

The memorable bit of the Brits for me was 92 when the KLF left the music industry on stage with extreme noise terror firing an ak47 over the heads of the crowd, shame they bottled the drenching of music darlings with buckets of pigs blood though.

Some chap giving a car a bit of john cleese is hardly rock n roll 🙂

Do people still watch awards shows?

Havent got a clue who any of the rapper are, the introductions were clumsy, the selection of musicians was narrow and the attemps at political statements poor(looking at you Albarn), otherwise enjoyable TV.

Only normal people.

Superior ones don't. They are much too important and clever to be interested by normal culture.

Its always been a car crash, so this year they decided to take the interpretation literally

It was a decent groove

but I'll always remember Mark Morrison's performance fondly, something to do with the stripping police women I think 🙂
