Good series of comics (though some issues a lot better than others).

For the 'Policing Superheroes in a comedic vein' then I still think AMs Top Ten takes some beating.

Now bring on Transmetropolitan. That's a series I'd like to see!

Yeah really enjoying it! After the disappointment of Brightburn this is superheroes gone bad done right (from what I’ve seen so far).

It is very dark and depraved but yes cranked down a notch or two from the comic!!

Great to see Simon Pegg in it, even if he's not Hughie.

Yeah, Karl Urban is an interesting choice for the role. He plays it well, the same kind of attitude as the comic, but a little more gruff and dark.

I'm happy with it. It's got the same kind of messed-up-ness as the comics, possibly a bit more, but is different enough that it's worth watching. Some of the scenes are bloody hilarious. If anyone has not watched the dolphin rescue scene yet, be warned.

Really enjoying it.

Excellent series, Karl Urban accident is Captured Jack Sparrow Vs Dick van Dyke Mary Poppins and really fails however some of the lines are brilliant (Spice Girls), some good if overlong themes - some of the humour is lol hilarious, it is a mix of superhero, independent film and gross out. Far better than American god's, which I am watching at the same time.

Visceral used to be a metaphorical term. In the modern age of telly it has acquired a literal meaning, there are actual viscera on screen in many of these shows.

Watched 2nd episode last night ... its fantastic. Not much of a fan of the Marvel type genre; but this is taking it in a totally different direction.

Ending was obvious but the brain melting was awesome

The use of the kid from sixth sense as an ex child star was indeed a stroke of genius. It’s weird how everything except his face has aged. Man body with child face attempting to hide behind a beard.

Another Banshee fan out there. That was a quality series. The Boys was excellent too.

I thought it was mostly great but the ending was a bit of an anticlimax. Hoping there’s a second season though.

It was confirmed for a second season before S1 was released. I thought the ending was a bit weak too, but I think it makes more sense when you know that the producers were confident that they had a second season and didn't feel the need to conclude things.

Will watch it tonight, anticipation is killing me.

Watched episode 1 last night and yes indeed still good it’s also still takes the piss out of itself.

Watched first episode last night ... still the go to show for really chrunchy bloody violence.

Inevitably lost some of the joy of originality of the first series hopefully the plotting will be strong

I did not see the ear slap coming. You're right about the 'simmering threat', really makes you think about the realities of an individual with unequalled power (what analogy could they be trying to make I wonder).

When Homelander loses his shit ( and we all know it's coming) it's going to be completely OOT...Can't wait.

Looking forward to starting S2, too much claret in it for the missus so I have to wait till shes out of the way.

Watched season 2 episode 1 last night and there was a couple of "ooh, thats gross" moments mixed with hilarity (during gross moments) to keep me coming back.
