...is the huge feeling of relief and calm once the orajel kicks in and the pain subsides...
oh well, only 11 more days until my dentists appointment!

i have my first dental appointment in 14 years on Tuesday.

i hope we win the lottery this weekend.. to be fair they have giving me zero jip over the years....

need a serious scale and polish and a filling i reckon.....

i have to MTFU though as ive been scared to go as the last time i went i had 3 wisdom teeth out and was in hell of a state. the wife made me go!

mine's a similar tale actually.
last time i had a dental appt was 1990, and that was for an extraction as a tooth was rotten and fell apart. i've never had any bother since (not even wisdom teeth issues) but i started getting toothache on sunday so figured its time to go back.
NHS though, so isn't the charge capped at about 200 quid if i need a lot of work doing?

I went for the first time in years, 7 fillings down the line (Damn that Irn Bru!) I'm a good bit lighter in the wallet and a bit heavier in the mouth, but the dentist was hot so its all good.
