Just ordered Cleva Vacmaster for use on the turbo - been dithering about them, but with BF10 code and sale price the fancy one with remote comes in at 72 quid delivered.

I've ordered a (used) Apple Watch series 6 with cellular for £215, which seems like a great deal (needs the code BLACKFRIDAYUK), assuming it's in reasonable condition.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303734454635?mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&siteid=3&campid=5336549684&customid=2260889478&toolid=10001&mkevt=1

Currently on a series 3, but looking forward to leaving the phone at home 🙂

27.5 × 3 WTB Bridger tyres for a tenner each. These were forty quid previously on CRC. Nice grippy tyres for the winter hack.

I used to use camel camel camel but it stopped letting me import an Amazon wish list and I stopped bothering with it. I’ve had some bargains from it over the yrs, things I’d been after for a while but not fussed when and bought when heavily discounted.

I’m after a makita plunge saw. Not decided on corded or cordless. Have batteries but unlikely to use that far from a plug?

Got a redshift stem £50 off last yr that I was going to buy anyway which was nice and has been good.

@DrP

I bought a tandem last year during lockdown and have covered over a thousand miles with my daughter on fun rides and school runs.

Hoping to have even more fun on this one.

That tandem looks like its missing the usual diagonal tube in the middle. Are there any reviews? Is it stiff enough? I was thinking it might make a good kids bike with two child seats on whilst their little and riding it normally when they're older.

@horatiohufnagel
There are a number of videos on YouTube. I've set myself appropriate expectations for a 500 quid tandem and placing my faith in Polygon being a big firm to know their stuff. I've not got big mountain rides planned, just the next stage up from what our Thorn Voyager can manage.

Samsung deals now up.....£60 off the A52s looks like a bargain.

Tablets not so much, considering the new ones should be out soon, but a good amount off full retail nonetheless.

50% off loads at sunglasseshut.com. Tempted by some new half jackets as it's hardly any more than replacement lenses and the iridium coating is failing on my existing ones.

Magicshine 3500 for £99 with a free rear light.

https://www.olightstore.uk/olight-rn-3500-bike-headlight.html?fbclid=PAAaaJB2WNBRVFemzj8THkPoQDUV_T1Aj5VbdYvDvsE0ZQl9Z2NyUrjHofG2c/blockquote >

Is that olight store kosher?

It seems to be branded olight rather than magicshine. Doesn't say monteer on it either. Looks the same and uses the same part number but not actually a magicshine as far as I can see. Might still be good for the money but definitely one to be cautious on

Olight have a "better" reputation than Magicshine. I suspect they are all part of the same company. The olight website is kosher. They do have an annoying habit of charging crazy RRP and then selling at a reasonable price during periodic sales.

That's a good price for that light, but will I remember to hit buy on the 25th before they go out of stock?

Ooni are offering 20% discounts until end of Nov. Gosney a bit less.

Hmm, I never did get round to choosing a pizza oven this summer, may have to revisit that thread we had going and fire up some Xmas flavours.

I used to clip mine onto a kiddy back tandem. Long since sold. It was excellent, but the Adams trail-a-bike was not so bad either.

Hmmm sonos...Normally they are good for deals, but perhaps not this year

Not a Black Friday thing, but if you are looking at spending a decent amount it can be worth buying a bit of used old kit that qualifies for their upgrade discount on new stuff. Eg. I recently spent £65 on an old Connect Amp and used it to get a £600 discount.

Some good deals on Ryobi tools on Amazon if you already have decent batteries:

https://www.hotukdeals.com/tag/ryobi

You can add to basket now but I dunno if that helps. Set a reminder?

Olight have a “better” reputation than Magicshine. I suspect they are all part of the same company.

I have no idea about the company thing but it seems like with lots of Chinese stuff - there are loads of options that are seemingly 'the same thing' but sometimes branded differently. You don't really know what the quality control/internal components are going to be like, and there are fakes of copies and copies of copies etc. I would reckon OLight is a pretty safe bet though.

The 3500 light is "Dual Branded" on the international Olight site. They don't hide that it's also sold as a Magicshine.

3500 was/is tempting at that price, seems the beam is a bit narrow though - 1, 2, compared to the 6500

Exactly where I'm at. I've looked at a few reviews and videos. The difference between flood and spot modes doesn't seem very much. Maybe its OK in the real world.

Still trying to find a deal on a Garmin Inreach Mini, seen then for £250 and was hoping to get it slightly cheaper as it is a large chunk of cash to spend, so any saving would be good - anyone seen any deals? Thanks.
