Yeah, I was reading about that earlier, still ambivalent about ‘UFO’s’ as possible alien creations, bearing in mind just how far away any star with a planetary system is, and why we could be of any possible interest to a species that has developed space travel to a level that transcends any physics that we know of, ie translight travel.
When the aliens get here they'll take one look from orbit and decide that any species that pisses in it's own drinking water wasn't worth the effort.

The thing is that for the past few decades we've been broadcasting countless tales of how aliens came to earth, had a go at taking us over only for someone to work out how to kick their sorry asses back to whatever wormhole they crawled out of. After scanning all of those they'd leave us well alone.
