Thanks to birky on the stargazing thread I was outside in the dawn light at 735 this morning (Yorkshire) to see ISS hoof it over the top of the moon, narrowly missing a 747 and then fading into the morning light. I even showed my five year old girl who was well impressed!

It'll be around most of this week at dawn. Check out http://www.spaceweather.com/flybys/country.php

Also the spacejunk app for Android is useful for knowing where it will pop up but frankly this morning it was the only other thing in the sky besides the moon as it was too light to see the stars.

Quality.

That brings back some memories! There was the Dr Who Wheel in Space and also a film from the 1950s. It's inspiring to see that part of science fiction become science fact.
