On a beautiful pacific island beach, looking out over a gorgeous sunset, warm sea lapping over your toes with the person you love....get the kindle out and read some jilly cooper.
I'd throw the ****ing thing in the sea and tell my partner to **** off if she'd sooner be with it rather than me.

theres a time and a place for reading, i would suggest that the situations depicted in the advert deserve more attention on 'the now' rather than the ****ing kindle....
Very poor rant. In favour of reading, but not of reading crap, so you're assuming they're reading crap so that you can moan about it.
Some people like lounging on beaches, some people like reading, some people like doing both at the same time. I'd better write to them all and tell them not to do it because they're being wrong, aa said so.

Not my idea of fun but each to their own. Besides more people on beach means less on the trails.
There's a kindle in the advert? All I noticed was the totally fit bodies.
