All the talk of Xbox one and PS4 and all that made me realize ice been playing Tetris on the gameboy for 30 years next year!!! Wonder if any of these super consoles will ever have a game that's still addictive in 30 years time, wonder if it's just the simplicity of it, any other versions of Tetris just aren't playable in my opinion!!!

Yeah, I still have my very first gameboy that I had for Christmas 1990 complete with Tetris. I still play it now and still find it as addictive as I did when I was 8 years old.

I still play gameboy tetris too. Perfect pacing, simple controls, easy to play but hard to master. All the right stuff.

Charlie Brookers show on videogames is on at 9 tonight on C4. Looks good.

The gameboy version is only 23 years old is it not?

There'll be games based around current themes still being played be interesting in what concept the consoles in 30 years time will be like.

I had a Tetris watch in school, more than 20 years ago - it's amazing I passed my exams, really.

Watching it now it's bringing back some good memories, well when I had spare ten pence pieces to hand.

I have a homebrew PS3 and one of the games I play on it most is Micro Machines on the Mega Drive emulator. Not sure if the old games were better/more playable or whether it is a nostalgia thing.
