So here is my question. Saturday night I will be camping at the Southern Enduro and I have two tents to pick, either a 2/3 man tent in Blue/Yellow or a 1 man bivi style tent (OEM Phoxx). Now which will be cooler for a single occupant. I want to take the 1 man coffin but don't want to drown in my own sweat....

Bigger and lots of venting would be my take. And try and pitch in the shade.

small one, lots of ventilation.

If you can, rig a tarpaulin over the top of it like a fly sheet to keep the sun off during the day and angle it so the morning sun doesn't hit it too early in the day.

Put the small one inside the large one with the door pointing north and always open ๐Ÿ˜€

Put the small one inside the large one

make sure the pegs on the small one are sharp enough to go through the groundsheet of the larger ๐Ÿ˜‰

At a festival last year we actually pitched our small 3 man under an outwell event shelter. Worked brilliantly as we had boiling hot sun for a day and half then rain the next day.
