Thankfully a couple of months away so hopefully wildfires gone by then and all ok out there.

Transfers from Tenerife south to Los Gigantes, ideally minibus/people carrier as it’s for 6.

Any recommendations?

Save me just relying on whatever google serves up.  Would rather pre-book as evening flight arrival and young kids, want to know all sorted.

Check out the TITSA buses.

Ignore me - missed the bit about young kids and Evening.

They are pretty good for getting you around the island though.

Look on Tripadvisor, you’ll get some decent recommendations.

We are going to LG in a few weeks. Free transfer from TUI included on a coach, but we wanted to swerve that as we didn't fancy waiting for Alf to finish his fag after ambling to the bus, whilst we were all waiting to go...

So we looked at the private transfers that TUI sold. £80 per person each way. Stuff that!!

We looked at car hire for a week and have just paid £135 for a full week's car hire including the necessary insurance etc.  Just as cheap as a taxi and plus we have the car for the week to get out and about. Obviously it'll cost extra for the fuel but we won't have to pay for busses etc. so that probably balances it out. Admittedly that price was for 2 of us but it wasn't much more to get a larger vehicle. We used Gold Car through a price comparison website (awaiting tales of horror stories from that company now ....) - a friend has used them with no problems.

I booked through ZipTransfers for private taxi transfer in Gran Canaria.

They were waiting at airport as expected and collected from hotel on time for departure.

Gold Car are megashits. Use local suppliers in the Med. Again TA will give you some recommendations and they’re usually slightly older cars but with none of the fuss and hassle of the major suppliers who’ll gouge you for extras.

We used Cicar on Gran Canaria. No deposit means no possibility for hassle on return.

For anyone else finding this: I got screwed by a Google result once -no-show driver, kids waiting, total disaster.
Used Transfeero. Worked perfectly. Around €60-70, minibus on time, done.
