There's no point. It's obviously an error but it amused me as it's a quartz movement in a black plastic case and even the 1AA battery it requires isn't included for £9,999.99.

I don't think it's an error, I think it's a marketing trick. Sold by "Plumbing supermarket", and not the only odd thing they sell. They're just waiting for somebody to post a link on a forum and then others to follow the link... and maybe even buy a new shower hose!

I think they put the price up to a silly one when their stock levels drop. Then when they have more stock it goes back to being a normal price. I believe it saves money as otherwise they would have to delist and re-list on Amazon which costs money.
